no matter of the season, the beauty grab i always seem to go to is rose blushes. if you dont know by now, i love everything rose.
i mean what kind of girl would i be if i didnt love roses? (; & getting them *cough* *cough* (;

it makes me feel  somewhat in tune with my femininity and ever since i was a young girl experimenting with makeup rose blushes also identified natural beauty to me.
and its true! nothing says natural then wearing a rose blush.
although, my search for other rose blushes is still on going i would still love to share with you my favorites currently, so drum rooooolll please......

i bought this one awhile back from hautelook and sadly its not sold on the l'occitane us website. but im sure if your from any other country it should be. it reminds alot of the illamasqua cream blushes. and smells heavenly like roses and peony's.

ive always been a lotion girl as long as i could remember and never really enjoyed the aspect of body butters. maybe it was because i never found the right one or the sometimes greasy feeling i felt after putting it on. but over the past year i found myself loving body butters.and every time i bought one i felt very pleased with them, this body butter being no exception.

so theres the thing, im never normally preachy about things, esp. products that are overly hyped about.
from the numerous youtube videos and makeup artists that swear by this stuff, i now get why. for the longest time i had always had trouble finding the right makeup remover. i would get those harsh racoon eyes, that flatters no woman, and mascara that would still would be on my face.

A week or so ago i took advantage of my birthday gift that Sephora has every year. i ended up picking the Benefit package because i thought it was about time to try there products. and what better way when its free. but like any girl or if your anything like me you cant go to Sephora and not get one thing. haha

I recently made an order with it urban decay online and checked out there  sale section.for higher class makeup brand they always seem to have really good sales.

With just the sense of "looking around", I ended up placing an order for the urban decay afterglow cheek tints. Score, Fetish and Bang stood out for to me and certainly didn't disappoint. The color payoff wasn't the only thing that stood out but being vegan as well(:

recently ive been paying more attention to what ive been using. ive always been into eating healthy foods and treating my body right.it never really occurred to me that the products i use could eventually end all my good work with the nasty ingredients they use.

so, it first started there. i made sure all the products i bought were free of parabens and were almost all organic. i know i have a long way to go since some of the products i very much adore contain ingredients im sure any health nut would cringe at.

throwing away products you saved your money good earned money even still makes me lightheaded.some of which i couldn't even begin to tell you how much i payed for.to some it isnt a second question, they would go for it and say good riddance for myself being a beauty lover with capital L, it will take baby steps.

as for the cruelty free part, it wasn't a second question at all. ever since i was little my passion towards animals has always been number one. i grew up respecting and protecting them.my senior year, i even did my last project proclaiming my love for them and  speaking out against the use of furs.even to this day i refuse to eat animal meats,wear animals skins and furs and put anything on my body that contains animal ingredients.

ive always been aware that there were products out there that were bunny approved(not tested on animals) and a majority of the beauty products i own are cruelty free.but over the past year ive started to transition all the products, cruelty free even from products i never would have thought were. this past week i came across some soon to be holy grain items.as soon as reading countless number of reviews i knew i had to place my orders. the companys called nourish organics and there products range for body washs,body butters to even deodorants.

in a few minutes will conclude the end of my only brothers birthday.
the fact is, not only am i rushing on writing this post just to be able to post it on this day but to share a quick overview on how special he was to me and continues to be.

i would normal write a heartfelt post about it but not only did i already in my personal journal but im just not ready to express my raw feelings to the whole world about a very intimate and personal subject.
for a long while i suppose the questions you may all want and answers with be on hold as i cope with the very fresh loss of him still.

nonetheless this day as been harder than i could imagine and im glad i had my family with me throughout it. to celebrate his life and together remember the sweet memories we all have with him.
